During our investigation at the Geiser Grand Hotel we took several hundred pictures. While reviewing the photos we noticed a lot of light phenomena on the stairs and in the conference room. (We couldn’t debunk them) Can you see them in the photos below?
Light phenomena in paranormal investigations include orbs, eerie lights, and other strange glows, which are often attributed to spirits by paranormal enthusiasts. However, skeptics propose that these can be explained by natural phenomena like dust, pollen, moisture, atmospheric conditions, or even misperceptions. Other potential natural explanations for “ghost lights” include ball lightning, bioluminescence, and static discharge.
Paranormal interpretations
Orbs: Frequently captured in photos, these appear as transparent or translucent spheres. Paranormal beliefs suggest they are spirits in motion, with white orbs being the most common.
Eerie lights: Sometimes called “spook lights,” these can be orbs or other unexplainable objects, often accompanied by strange sounds. Legends attribute them to spirits, like the Maco Light from a railroad accident or the Brown Mountain Lights from Native American folklore. Ectoplasm: In spiritualism, this is believed to be a substance exuded by mediums, indicating a spirit’s presence.
